minah Pantun??

last Tuesday an event regarding the retirement of my BIG boss was held. i was choosen (again..yawn..) as the Master of Ceremony.
it was a luncheon event which has been attended by all the head of agencies including kay*ess*en, kay*pee*peeya.
the sound check started at 10am and i was running here and there with the script (ehem, in my highest stiletto mind you!)

people started to arrived when the clock nearly showed 12.55pm. earlier that morning, my head spinned and felt like throwing up. i am so scared i'll get sick during the ceremony. when the clock strucked at 1.05pm, i got the cue and annouced the arrivals of the VVIPs.

bla bla bla, the one that we celebrated was asked to giving out his speech. later at the end of his speech, to our suprised (urus setia n me) he recited 2 rangkaps of thank you pantun...his speech was quite touching..celebrating 34th years in the service is not that easy by just letting it go..whatever he advised and said to me in particular...i'll cherish it in my heart forever..scared of crying and cannot continue the ceremony, i tried my very best not to look at him or even listened so much to his speech..(hehehe emo yantie!!)

he ended his speech and i continue with the script...

'terima kasih Y.Bhg. Datuk....'

and because of the 4 rangkaps of pantun...

semua orang pun masih berkata-kata pasal pantun itiew....

malu saya :P

saya bukan encik TAYO yang hebat dalam bab2 berpantun ni..
pantun tu pun amik dari internet je..tapi maksud yang mendalam dalam pantun tu yang saya harap dapat beri kesan pada Yang Diraikan..
(despite the 'ooooo's and the 'aaaaa's and 'the awwwwww, thats sweet!' from the floor)

in any way pun, i feel good about the fact that i managed to finished the event smoothly.. (tanpa rasa nak termuntah dan sebagainya :D)

the last part that i like was when Datin approach me and said 'wah, sedap pantun tadi..'
