how do you 'brand' someone as a fashionista?

should he/she dressed to impressed and be someone he/she is not?

should he/she be wearing high-end, designer goods from head to toe?

should he/she be a wealthy person/with tonnes of money?

should he/she wear ridiculous, out-of-mind kinda clothing? or,

should he/she be someone who is confident with whatever looks he/she carries?

as for me, i love fashion so much that i'll go to each and every fashion webpage, flipping through each page of a fashion magazine and go to the shopping malls to have a look at the latest trend. i love high end, designer goods. but i do pre-loved or warehouse too! name it, from Tod's to Coach to Vivienne Westwood to Marc Jacobs to Louis Vuitton to Aldo to Vincci to Guess to Kamdar to pasar malam and also bundle stores!!

but to be a fashionista myself, i don't think so.

yes. maybe i'll buy those stupid looking tops or some mind blowing shoes but definitely not to the extend of wearing things that my friends will say to me 'are you out of your mind?' or seeing them lurking their eyes ;)

i'll update myself with those trendy-fashion-knowledge but i never wanted to be a fashion victim.

i do respect many people that can dressed themselves in a way that i can't imagine myself in their position.

khai once told me, 'you're a crazy bout fashion, i'm waiting for the moment you'll wear belt with those tops you bought!' hahaha luckily, till this very moment, i haven't :D

i will say that i tend to buy or wear something that people might find weird but for me, it just represent who you are. those 'bulu sweater' that i bought at a bundle shop in Larkin (for 5 bucks), green khakis skinny jeans, high cut gladiator shoes (even i'm wearing it with my jeans all the time and people dun even know that its knee length high!), 'mickey mouse uni' football jacket that i bought for 10 bucks, my all over silver-gliterry pumps and so much more. i don't think Min (jangan marah Min, contoh) would wear those things kan??!

truthfully, i'm a simple girl. i wear black almost all the time, jeans and crazy cartoons shirts, granny-earthy-do-not-recognize-me-coloured kurung but i am also the girl who will go crazy about latest trends and very much aware of the do's and the dont's of fashion. but then, i actually just go according to what i feel good in and more important to feel confidence. i know my heels does that to me! the higher the heels, the better i feel about myself!
