hey guys. happy weekend. apa bikin???
me? semalam g repair rambut (ye, rambut horror!), carik buku2 menarik di Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2010 di PWTC, makan2 sushi (yummeh!) sampai penuh perut di MV dan pencarian tidak berjaya Croc untuk menggantikan Croc yang putus di downtown BTR.

i am addicted. this is serious.
one cake in a week. wajib. taktau kenapa. i love baking from scratch.
berhabis banyak jugak tapi puas hati!

first up : Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

the ingredients : sugar, brown sugar, (on the plate) baking powder+ baking soda + salt, banana, soft flour, eggs, cocoa powder, chocolates, buttermilk, butter

mashed the banana, whipped the butter with sugar, add in eggs, banana and the dry ingredients, add in buttermilk and lastly the chopped chocolates, bake for 40 minutes.

* end results tiada ye. hik hik. kamera Kicap bawak balik Shah Alam masa tu. yang penting mak suka gila! :)

second project : Red Velvet Cake with Fluffy White Frosting and Toasted Coconut.

from left to right : 

(first row) cocoa powder + vanilla + red colouring paste, butter + sugar, both of the ingredients together.

(second row) buttermilk (after adding in the flour etc), right before entering the oven, the result

(third row) my Red Velvet with White Frosting and Toasted Coconut (nom!nom!)

ini baru sahaja keluar dari oven di saat saya menaip entry ini.
bau semerbak. dan tangan ai dah lenguh. pukul bahan2 kek, frosting plak lagi.
akhirnya jadi ai punya frosting u. if you compare mine with Joy, you can find a slight different la. hahahaha.
rasa mungkin sama. but definitely niceeeeeeeeeeee!
