reading mode

currently i'm reading these three books.
yes, alternately.
although i bought like more than 10 books from Big Bad Wolf Book Sale last Friday and Saturday and Monday (story later!), i still need to complete these three books.

bought it from various store. MPH, Borders and Popular.
the hardest to get is this book : Three Cups of Tea - Greg Mortenson.

to get the book i called all MPH Outlets and Borders.
finally only MPH Mid Valley said they have the final copy of the book!

Next book is And The Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. I can't stop reading his books since The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Sun. Meleleh air mata woo.

and last but not least, David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell.

The Big Bad Wolf is back!!!

i'm excited but to bad this year i don't have the student book vouchers anymore. boo!
its ok.  i'm more than happy to spend at the sale.
yeah. the books from the previous sale(s) still in a good condition (inside the luggage! haha) but i'm waiting to transfer everything to new house in Penang.

Big Bad Wolf Book Sale 2011 - The Review

it is really, really one big and bad book sale.not only this year they held it in Hall A MAEPS, Serdang but the books, wow!!!! *ngeee*

i went on the second day, early morning. reached there 10 minutes to 10am. people were already queuing along the tent. upon entering the hall, i was speechless. *rasa nak lari peluk semua buku2. wahaha*

hasilnya???

388myr + 165myr worth of books!!

7. Edward Monkton's A Lovely Love Story & The Shoes of Salvation;
8. 2 books for my niece and nephew. :D

hadiah yang bermakna

ye, seperti yang dimaklumkan saya telah bertukar portfolio.
di division saya, telah dibuat job rotation dan saya antara yang terlibat.
at first, it's kinda hard for me to accept the fact (selepas 4 tahun) that i'm no longer in charge of disciplinary action for those yang ada issue dan akan tukar portfolio yang jauh berbeza.
walaupun still dalam division yang sama, kerja sangat lain.
dari duduk di pejabat, menghadap paperwork yang banyak dan pening dengan karenah orang ke tempat yang penuh dengan kejutan (dari segi kerja). benda on going banyak (super banyak) dan benda2 terkejut pun banyak. dan insyaAllah, duk sini, makin kurus lah saya. Kerana berlari2 ke sana sini.

dan isnin lalu, mantan ahli seksyen (termasuk bos kecik) panggil saya ke dalam bilik. mereka bagi ucapan terima kasih dan berikan saya hadiah.

alhamdulillah. empat tahun bersama, depa tau benda kesukaan saya.
apa yang saya dapat?

i want to make a confession.
saya tidak jadi pergi ke Jakarta. dan saya rasa stress.
akibatnya pada hari Sabtu saya ke Big Bad Wolf Book Sale dan beli buku. Banyak la jugak.
the largest purchase to date. sebelum ni kalau ke Big Bad Wolf pun, cuma beli dua, tiga je. tapi semalam terbeli berbelas2. Hahaha. takpe kan? sebab last time saya beli buku adalah bulan Mei 2010 yang lalu iaitu The Carrie Diaries.

itu hasil belian pada hari Ahad. i buy what i like and when i found out that reviews for the books i bought was good, i'm totally satisfied! worth every single RM 102 i've spent!!! masih lagi terfikir2 sebenarnya pasal buku2 yang tertinggal di sana. serius! termimpi2 ok. sapa tanak beli kalau harganya bermain2 dalam range RM 5 - RM 15???!! oho! i love you Big Bad Wolf!!! peneman saya adalah Encik Ulat Buku <3 yang telah berjaya membeli sebanyak RM 253 pada hari pertama dan RM 177 pada hari ke-2. tahniah ;p
