it is really, really one big and bad book sale.not only this year they held it in Hall A MAEPS, Serdang but the books, wow!!!! *ngeee*

i went on the second day, early morning. reached there 10 minutes to 10am. people were already queuing along the tent. upon entering the hall, i was speechless. *rasa nak lari peluk semua buku2. wahaha*

hasilnya???

388myr + 165myr worth of books!!

mabuk buku

i want to make a confession.
saya tidak jadi pergi ke Jakarta. dan saya rasa stress.
akibatnya pada hari Sabtu saya ke Big Bad Wolf Book Sale dan beli buku. Banyak la jugak.

itu hasil belian pada hari Ahad. i buy what i like and when i found out that reviews for the books i bought was good, i'm totally satisfied! worth every single RM 102 i've spent!!! masih lagi terfikir2 sebenarnya pasal buku2 yang tertinggal di sana. serius! termimpi2 ok. sapa tanak beli kalau harganya bermain2 dalam range RM 5 - RM 15???!! oho! i love you Big Bad Wolf!!! peneman saya adalah Encik Ulat Buku <3 yang telah berjaya membeli sebanyak RM 253 pada hari pertama dan RM 177 pada hari ke-2. tahniah ;p

for me - right at this moment is lounging at a plush sofa, at Starbucks Coffee, with the nice-stimulating-god-knows whatever-coffee-smell, a new book [The Carrie Diaries], and surrounded by the people you loved most! pure bliss. high on coffee-jangan percaya sangat saya ni. hahaha

it's awesome how i can feel it at so(bliss) me particular moment.

anyhooooo, mamat tu hangin la jugak. hahaha di kata aku sengaja sebab nak main tenet.
biarlah! hahaha.

mood untuk menonton tv tiada malam ni. lagipun Ayah tengah melunjurkan kaki di atas sofa sambil menonton bola. tanak kacau. BBC Knowledge Magazine [Vol. 2] saya dah sampai! adalah lebih menarik membaca nya sambil online kan?? banyak benda bleh belajar selain daripada menambah vocab dan mengurangkan kekaratan bahasa inggeris saya. huhu.

ok. i found an article regarding the world's longest railway tunnel with a very interesting picture, a story of Mark Twain, 21st century treasure hunters, seven wonders of the solar system and many more. not to forget the Q&A Section! hehehe. i'm stucked :D

hai korang.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha.
harap2 semua sihat. me? jumaat pagi balik melaka. makan dengan sangat banyak. sabtu lepas lunch balik putrajaya. and then gerak ke KLCC. ye. KLCC. lepak kat The Apartment yang super chill dan penuh rasa kasih sayang. tambah pulak dengan baked chocolate pudding yang yummy. nak makan pavlova. tapi strawberry habis kot. *duh*

kemudian saya ke The Big Bad Wolf Warehouse Sale. ye. ingat lagi tak entry saya dan min ke jualan buku dan menggila? ha.. saya pegi semalam. and i bought 6 books altogether. turut menggila. kepala sakit sebab keep on pusing2 carik buku.

nampak tak buku paling hujung sebelah kanan bawah. saya ingatkan buku Wuthering Height.

Rupanya tersalah la. itu Withering Height. huk huk. some of the books are not for me but to give away as present. we'll see which is which la. :D

tak tahan lah. buku2 tu buat saya hilang ingatan kat orang sebelah yang gila jugak semalam. hahaha

yang ni macam menarik untuk bagi pada my boss. tengok lah.

pastu kitorang layan Pelita sebelah KLCC tu and terus balik dan menggila lagi sampai dinihari. hari ni tak nak buat ape2 sebab nak relax saja. malam ni dah janji ngan didi untuk keluar dinner di pavilion. perut masih penuh sekarang dan tak rasa teruja lagi. orang nak balik dah. terasa dah lain macam.

went to Borders, The Curve last nite. nearly closed. i managed to squeezed in and found the book. for those who are interested, please buy the book now. only few left. now i'm already at page 71 (of 615 pages. hahahaha) wish me luck. i am drowning in the lovey dovey feeling of the book. poem above is from Derek Walcott which was quoted in the book. can't wait for the movie.

saya nak ke borders la...jom?

haku ni kat rumah, mentang2 puasa, lepas tu hujan. jadi mellow je. jiwa raga sendu gitu. hahaha. sejuk, lepas dalam comforter sedap tu memang tak hengat donia. so memandangkan bulan puasa ni, aku bercadang nak tambah koleksi buku (ye saya sedar patutnya tambah pahala baca Al-Quran). cuba dengar dulu alasan...haih! sebabnya duit makan kan dah tak berguna bulan2 puasa ni, so baik kita invest ke buku2 dari membeli kasut, lamanye la tak beli kasut.. ye tak? hihi.

so semalam sempat singgah ke Alamanda, g MPH dan carik buku. niat di hati nak beli 2, tapi satu je yang ada. saya beli buku ni:

tapi sedih gila. nak dekat 1/2 jam saya pusing2 kat seksyen FICTION tu tapi buku yang saya carik takde. oh, saya tengah nak carik buku ni:

Semuanya gara-gara menonton trailer movie yang bakal keluar (di Malaysia) pada Oktober ni. Movie yang menampilkan Rachel McAdams dan supersexy Eric Bana sangat best dan review orang ramai berdasarkan pra-tonton sangat memberangsangkan. so i need to read it first dan baru tengok movie.

Plan seterusnya ialah untuk ke Borders terhampir (alamak, mana Borders terhampir eh??) hari ini juga kerana next week sudah bz dengan Merdeka! Dengan adanya SALE sehingga 40%, saya tak leh lepaskan peluang ini. sambil2 tu boleh beli Twilight untuk lengkapkan set buku saya. oh, bercakap tentang Twilight, tahukah tuan2 dan puan2 yang ada 3 lagi movie bakal dishooting di samping Eclipse (yang sedang di shooting di Canada) akan datang Breaking Dawn (the so called last installation) dan satu lagi movie yang belum didedahkan tajuknya! Min, aku rasa mesti round-up cerita tu kan (yang satu folder pdf files ko bagi tu). Sape yang nak cerita2 tambahan yang Stephanie Meyer buat tapi tak dijadikan buku, sila email saya. hikhik

Oklah, saya nak settlekan minit yang saya taip sambil2 saya buat entry ni dan nak ajak mak g Mid Valley la. kalau taknak turun pun, saya nk lari kejap je untuk beli buku. hahaha. petang kang nak goreng cikodok pulak!

oh, jumaat lepas saya, min dan um liyana telah ke Big Bad Wolf Warehouse Sale kat Section 13, PJ. kalau dulu asik g warehouse sale baju je, kali ni kami layan warehouse buku plak. aduh, seronok nye. naik berpinar bijik mata ni tgk buku2 yang sangatlah banyak dan best! bau buku (ok, i'm a freak, but i do love the smell!) tu boleh release tension!

so, here a my catch on Friday! 5 buku hanya berjumlah RM40 sahaja!!!! nak beli lagi tapi banyak sangat dah belanja. lunch Jumaat tu dah rembat quilt cover set kat Aussino! saya baru nak start baca (sebab masih dengan semangat twilight saga - Bella Swan & the Cullens)

all in all, saya suka warehouse sale ini. belian paling worth sekali. the three of us each spend around RM50 (the most) and gembira gila. if pegi mph sekali pun, satu buku je dapat untuk RM50! and today, Lin sms kata nak g ngan Kamal. dia habis RM200. i can imagine her crazy face tengok buku banyak2!!!

cuma satu benda saya dan kawan2 saya dapat lihat, kaum Melayu jarang nak serbu jualan2 buku macam ni. ye saya paham novel2 nya adalah bahasa inggeris. tapi kan ke baik pupuk semangat membaca. bukan la saya bagus sangat kerana banyak baca buku inggeris tapi proses belajar tu kan ke bagus. hik hik

i just add these to my book rack. belian pada Jumaat, 10 April 2009. i finished 'Saya Pun Melayu' by Zaid Ibrahim two days after and right now still trying to finish chapter one of Khaled Hosseini's - 'The Kite Runner'. oh i want a book rack, white in colour, made of wood. er. bilalah nak beli ni tah!!! yang penting, bilik dah penuh dengan buku2. ;).

saya sudah bosan dengan dvd pada malam hari. pusing2 dengan dvd indonesia, english dan korea. saya mahu tukar angin. dah 2 ke 3 bulan saya tak beli buku. saya nak beli buku yang buat saya tidak bosan. bila surf, saya ada jumpa buku2 baru dari paulo coelho dan tony parsons. tapi kena pre-order sebab datang nya hanya pada bulan April dan Mei...waaa...nak sekarang!!!!!
